Guests were greeted into the reception first with a lively cocktail hour, and then with a gorgeous escort display welcoming them into the dinner tent. The sunset was orange and pink, beautifully matching the florals arranged by Harvey Designs.

In documenting the reception, we wanted the visuals to really match the feeling of being in the tent, listening to loved ones each give a testimonial of how the couple had touched their lives. It felt warm, spirited, and meaningful to be in the room. You could tell Mary & Gage have built a wonderful life together by how excited guests were to celebrate their marriage alongside them. It was an absolute privilege to tell the story of this moment in their lives.

After a morning brunch on Broughton Street, we began photographing the detail and final moments of the wedding party getting ready. The emotional moments of Mary's family seeing her in her dress for the first time were inspiring to us, and we wanted those important connections were highlighted in the photos.

Both Mary & Gage were really close with their families, and the interactions with them are some of our favorite photos in the gallery. When it finally came time for the ceremony, the sunlight was absolutely perfect. A gentle breeze blew over from the river as Mary & Gage exchanged vows, just a few miles away from the place where they first met.

"I couldn’t say enough great things about Maggie! We received our wedding gallery today and are blown away by how beautiful the photos are! Not only are they stunning, but Maggie does an amazing job at capturing the day as it really happened. Small moments and big, scrolling through our gallery truly tells the story of the day and brings us back to all of the feelings we were feeling the day of! She is professional, calm, kind, and has an incredible artistic eye and talent. We are so thankful to her!"
