It's those moments of being together that taught me to really see and soak in the feelings as they're happening. I believe that a great photo can transport you back to the feelings, not just the visual memories and instantly realign you with who you are and what you love.
Today I live in Athens, GA with my high school sweetheart husband, Andrew (this is us on our wedding day!) If I have a Saturday off, you can find me at an estate sale, maybe a wine bar, starting yet another new crafty hobby, or rearranging my home for the millionth time.
For me photography is a way to not only preserve the memories we have, but also to transform how we see ourselves and our loved ones. When we have photos that are more than beautiful — they mean something to us — we remember to live in the present and not take for granted the things that really matter.
So much of my work is rooted in how I grew up, outside of Atlanta, and the oldest of four sisters. My family is fun and creative, and loves to celebrate together. I was raised on spontaneous, wonderfully thrown together dinner parties and staying up way too late talking on the back porch.

My hope for my photography is that it helps you to fall in love with the imperfections in life. I want to release the pressure to look and feel perfectly. I think that the little asynchronicities that make us unique are the thing that make us all so appealing.
This purpose informs everything I do in my work. I've learned that bringing the right team, doing intentional preparation, and using the right tools can allow my clients to relax and let go of expectations and just be in the moment
