My work is informed by close relationships with my family and friends, personal & professional travels, my love for hand-made and vintage things, a lifetime of creative pursuit, and nearly 10 years of working as a photographer in the wedding industry. I believe that my art is best when there is warmth and feeling in the room, and when my clients trust that I have their preserved memories are top of mind.
I observe the world from a hopeful point of view, while also understanding the depth in every moment that we share with loved ones. A dinner party isn’t just a dinner party, it’s a moment in your personal history. When candles flicker out and the dance floor is finally cleared, what we have left are the photos that will remind us of the bliss of feeling connected to each other.
I've learned that bringing the right team, doing intentional preparation, and using the right tools can allow my clients to relax and let go of expectations and be in the moment.
My hope for my photography is that it helps you to fall in love with the imperfections in life. I want to release the pressure to look and feel perfectly. I think that the little asynchronicities that make us unique are the thing that make us all so wonderful.
