moments

real

Remaining present surrounded by the people you love will reflect back into your photos. Creating meaningful memories and really living in the moment on your wedding day is a huge priority. Leave the documentation to us, so you can really be there on your wedding day.

Our experience photographing wedding days has taught a patience and anticipation of candid moments, as well as an instinct for when people need a little guidance and encouragement. We never want you to feel left feeling lost, so we'll walk you through how to feel relaxed and fall into candid, authentic moments in front of the camera.

There's nothing wrong with a little gentle direction or some encouragement towards a specific photo, but we want to help you let go of any perceived pressure to be perfect. Perfection is an illusion, and isn't interesting. Feeling seen and loved for you you are is way more meaningful.

This is one reason why film is such a great approach to photography. Film is finicky and inherently imperfect. It's a slow process, and helps us let go of any pressure to be anything we're not. Changing a film roll or waiting for that perfect moment gives you a second to take a breath. It helps us know that simply standing in great light with our shoulders back, next to the person we love is enough.

genuine

Letting go of expectations for yourself and your loved ones to be exactly perfect is a huge part of the collaboration between you and our team. It's a collective effort to let things unfold, but we promise that the candid photos that come from it will be more meaningful than anything we could stage for you. We'll pick the perfect light and place, and let the magic unfold.
