February Wedding in Dunwoody, Georgia

filed in:

Caroline and Hayes’ February wedding at Dunwoody Country Club was the perfect blend of classic and celebratory. Elegant without being overly formal, and full of heartfelt moments from start to finish.

The day began with soft winter light and a calm, joyful energy. Their ceremony was timeless and full of emotion, followed by a lively reception that felt like such a true reflection of them: relaxed, fun, and surrounded by the people they love most.

Dunwoody Country Club made for a beautiful backdrop, with its warm interiors and inviting, old Atlanta charm. Even in winter, the grounds gave us lovely spots for portraits, and the candlelit reception space was especially cozy and romantic.

From emotional toasts to a packed dance floor, this was a day that reminded me how meaningful and fun wedding days can be, especially when they’re planned with heart. It was a joy to document every part of it.

I'm inspired by my relationships with my high-school sweetheart husband, and with my three younger sisters, by antique stores and great music, by watching  great tv and movies or an underdog win a sports game, and most of all by the persistence by which we choose to celebrate together and love each other well.

I'm Maggie, a Georgia-based photographer specializing in documenting weddings along the east coast. My mission with photography is to help people fall in love with the imperfect moments, and see those moments as art. Noticing these things are what help us see each other better.
