I was lucky enough to witness this gorgeous fall wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in the Highlands of North Carolina. For anyone who has been to the Highlands, they know how magical it always here. A beautifully designed, unexpected color palette brought freshness to the entire wedding.

When photographing the Highlands wedding, I wanted to really think about the shapes of nature and light, and find ways to build a story around the couple and their family. The day was heartfelt, meaningful, and easy-going with lots of celebration at the end. My favorite element was the beautifully lit ceiling element over the dance floor. It was a lovely wedding at Old Edwards Inn, and I look forward to going back!

My art is all about the juxtaposition of modern editorial with unpolished, unexpected visuals. I’m inspired by hands-on, analog formats, details, and the world around us.

Life is simply a series of moments. It’s my honor to pay attention and use film to capture them.

I think often about the stories that we take with us through our lives. Photos often inform the memories that we keep, and I always want those memories to evoke authentic emotion.

When people look at the photos that we captured for them, I want them to feel seen and loved for exactly who they were in that moment, and come to a deeper appreciation for themselves and their loved ones.

Photography is a beautiful opportunity to bring the most impactful moments along with us for our whole lives, and I'm constantly honored to document and preserve those stories.
