Shelby & Jordan’s were married on a brisk February day in Athens, Georgia. Their Valentine’s Day wedding was highlighted by the red florals, designed by Araiza florals, that brought a fun, romantic vibe to the historical backdrop of Georgian Hall.
Because this wedding was in the winter, it challenged us to photograph in a space that didn’t have a ton of light so we relied on the remaining sunshine we had, and leaned into flash photography for most of the time. The flash provided an editorial look, bringing drama and fun to the photos.
Friends and family were surprised with a mariachi band walking into the cocktail hour. It was so sweet to see reuniting family and old friends dancing and chatting. Jackson & June events thoughtfully planned this Valentine’s Day wedding , which was a pleasure to be a part of.
